Ocean Dynamics, Past - Present - Future (MVSpec)

This new lecture will present and discuss the physics of ocean circulation as well as some chemistry of the ocean to ultimately study the present ocean state is past evolution to present and its possible future changes.

As such the course covers physical oceanography aspects, tracers and proxies, chemical and biogeochemical cycles and past to fture climate change.

It also discusses aspects of stability and consequence of past and future changes, as well as open science questions and modern methodologies of observation
