In this lecture we present physics highlights and detector technologies employed by three high-energy physics experiments (ALICE, ATLAS, and LHCb) at the Large Hadron Collider.

We will discuss recent physics results on:

CP-violation, lepton flavour universality, real-time analysis
Hadron jet and high-p_T physics, Dark Matter searches
Quark-gluon plasma, hot QCD matter

The lecture course will also include a journal club showcasing some of the experiments most cited papers.
