Das Interstellare Medium

This seminar focuses on the physics of the interstellar medium.  We will cover topics including: the conditions for star formation, gas physics, gas dynamics, observational and simulation techniques. Students will prepare and present a 20 minute talk on an assigned topic and prepare a handout.  Through group feedback, a key goal of this course is to provide participants the opportunity to practice and improve on their presentation skills in a constructive learning environment. In the advent of restrictions on in-person meetings, we aim to organize the course online over video (Zoom). 

Course organization will be done through the e-learning environment. An enrollment key will be sent to all enrolled participants by email.
