26.7.18: WRITTEN EXAM (Ralf Klessen)

The written exam starts at 14:15 CEST in the Kleiner Hörsaal.

Instructions:

• Please use only the paper that was handed to you. You get additional blank sheets of paper if needed.

• Please write your name on every sheet of paper.

• No other tools, with the exception of writing utensils are admitted.

• Please give back the sheet with the exam problems and all pages on which you have written something.

Hints: If calculations are performed, orders of magnitudes are fully sufficient. The use of pocket calculators or smart phones is not permitted.

It is a good idea to start with those problems that you can easily solve. No lengthy explanations are necessary. Short but clear answers are sufficient.

The seminar will take place on Monday and Tuesday, July 30 and 31, 2018. Possible seminar topics (review papers) can be found at this ADS list. You can also suggest own topics. Please discuss that with the lecturers.
