This is the compact version of "Stellar Astrophysics". It consists of lectures, problem solving sessions, and presentations by the participants. The course is essentially a "full time" activity for the period Apr 4 to Apr 14.
Recommended preparation: Introduction into Astrophysics I
Handouts and notes will be provided on the course web site.
Topics include:
Stellar structure - pulsations and asteroseismology - photospheres - rotation - outer atmospheres of the Sun and stars - star formation - stellar evolution - supernovae - stellar remnants - binary stars
