General information

Dear all,

find here the link to our fisrt lecture on 12th April. 2021 11:15

Youtube: (https://youtu.be/ByI8t5J6Bh4)

Dear Students, Due to the continuing Corona Pandemic, lectures are essentially online again this semester. We are again streaming on Youtube every Monday and Wednesday from 11:00 to 13:00 with questions in chat. We will post the links in a timely manner.

  • There is a preliminary script on Moodle and please follow the book recommendations as well.
  • Otherwise everything is the same as last semester, there will be exercises every week and we hope you use the chat and discussion forums as well as the tutorials to progress.
  • We are all looking forward to the new semester and hope that you have arrived well in your studies despite all the unusual circumstances.
  • Please send any questions on organizational matters to Konrad Briggl (->mail)

Stay healthy !

Exam

The exam will take place on 24.th July at 10:00 AM.

As in the previous semester we are forced to do the exam in an online format. For this reason we require a signed form stating that you did the exam without forbidden help.

This form is available on moodle (here) and can be uploaded as final exercise sheet on this platform. Please upload the document until 21. of July in order to participate in the exam.

The retry exam wil take place in presence on Tuesday, 12.th of October 2021 from 15:00 to 17:00. It will take place in the big lecture hall HS1 at KIP (INF227).

As the exam will be prepared and printed personalized, we ask you to register to the exam in advance by mail to Konrad Briggl (template with neccesary informations in the link). Important: Registration to the retry exam shall be done until 6.10.2021 at the latest.

Review of the retry exam will take place monday, Sep 18th between 3PM and 7PM. During this time, you will have the chance to review the corrections and bring forward comments on the corrections. The review will take place online.

The lecture script will be available soon on moodle. However, by far more details and much better discussed do textbooks treat the subject matters. the following books are great sources of information and may even help solve exercises:   Further Books are the lectures of Feynman Volume I and II as well as the Berkeley Physics course work and many others ...
