The content of this lecture will cover the most important neutrino experiments from the first observation at a nuclear reactor to the recent results on coherent elastic neutrino nucleus scattering at a pion decay at rest source. The neutrino production mechanisms in the sources, different detection techniques and characteristic neutrino properties such as the oscillation phenomenum will be discussed. The goal is to give insights to the exciting world of experimental neutrino research, with all its great achievements. The experimental results obtained in the last decades improved significantly our understanding of these fascinating particles, but there are still open questions and puzzling observations.

Exercise sheets will be put online on Tuesday and have to be uploaded by Monday 14:00 the week after. To get your credit points, we expect regular attendance to the lectures and tutorials as well as more than 60% of the points on the exercise sheets. The lecture will start on Monday, October, 17th, the first tutorial will be on Wednesday, October, 26th. There will be no final exam.
